After months of building a messaging platform that puts privacy first by design, we're opening up beta access. Here's what we've built, why we built it, and how to get in.

It starts today

Dyscron is officially in beta.

That's a sentence we've been working toward for a long time, and writing it feels significant. Not because launching a beta is a milestone in itself — but because of what it represents: a messaging platform built from the ground up on the principle that privacy isn't a feature. It's a right.

We're opening access now, and we want you in.

Why we built this

The more you look at how modern messaging platforms are designed, the harder it becomes to ignore what they have in common. Centralised servers. Retained logs. Encryption that exists until it doesn't. Policies that change without notice.

We kept asking the same question: what would a messaging platform look like if it was designed so that even we couldn't compromise your privacy?

Dyscron is our answer to that question.

What we've built

The platform is built around three ideas that we consider non-negotiable.

  1. Zero-knowledge architecture. Your messages are yours. We hold no keys, no backdoors, and no ability to read what you send. This isn't a setting you have to enable — it's the only way the system works.
  2. Ephemeral by design. Conversations don't linger. Once a message is gone, it's gone permanently. There's no server-side archive, no recoverable log, and nothing to hand over — because there's nothing to find.
  3. Trust enforced in code. We don't ask you to take our word for it. Your privacy is guaranteed at the protocol level, independent of our policies, our team, or any external pressure we might face down the road.

What beta means

Beta means the product is real and usable — but we're still refining it. You may encounter rough edges. Some features are still in progress. We'll be shipping updates frequently, and we genuinely want to hear what you think.

This is also the best time to get involved. Early users shape the product more than anyone else. If something doesn't work the way you'd expect, or if there's something you wish existed, we want to know.

Who is this for

Dyscron is for anyone who has started to question whether their conversations are really private. Journalists, researchers, teams handling sensitive information, or simply people who believe that a private message should stay private.

You don't need to be a security expert to use it. You just need to care about who has access to your communications.
